What We're Teaching:
Who is Jesus?
In the Gospel of John and the book of Revelation, Jesus makes statements about Himself that reveal who He is and what He came to do. These I AM statements reveal the nature of Jesus and His heart for people, helping us know Him more: “I am the bread of life” (John 6:35), “I am the way and the truth and the life” (John 14:6), “I am the vine” (John 15:5), and “I am the Alpha and Omega” (Revelation 21:6). In this series, we will discover that the I AMs are more than just statements; they help us know how we can respond to Jesus and know Him more deeply as our life-giver, our way to God, our source of abiding, our beginning and end.
This month's memory verse: "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." - John 8:12 NIV
Week 1: "I Am the Bread of Life" shows us that Jesus gives us life. Scripture Passage: John 6
Week 2: "I Am the Way, the Truth and the Life" teaches us that Jesus is the Way to God. Scripture Passage: John 14
Week 3: "I Am the True Vine" shows us that Jesus invites us to abide in Him. Scripture Passage: John 15

Our team uses Bible-based, up-to-date multimedia technology, weekly family interactive questions that are available on Wonder@Home, Bible memory games, and more. We hope SC Kids is just the beginning of a life-long, character-building, exciting journey with Jesus.
