Kids Ministry

SOUTHCOAST Kids is a place where children learn to live out their faith, build lasting friendships, and grow in their relationship with God. Our Kids' services incorporate praise, worship, honest conversations and illustrated messages that explain God's Word in a relatable way. We strive to be a place where children of all ages and all backgrounds are loved, welcomed, and invited into an atmosphere where they can encounter the love of God.  We hope SC Kids is just the beginning of a life-long, character-building, exciting journey with Jesus for your kids.

What We're Teaching: 

Hanging Out with Jesus

God sent His one and only Son, Jesus, into the world because of His deep love. Jesus extended that love to the people He hung out with as He traveled and taught. In this series, kids will be introduced to the love Jesus has for all people, including them. He wants to be with us every day. He sees each of us for who we are and knows our needs before we even tell Him. Jesus offers love and care like no one else can, and His love is so great that He eventually died on the cross to save us from sin. Jesus loves us more than we can even imagine, and He invites us to hang out with Him … forever!
This month's memory verse: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. - John 3:16-17
Week 1: When Jesus calls the disciples, we'll see that God calls us too!  Scripture Passage: Luke 5
Week 2: When Jesus meets the woman at the well, we'll learn that God sent Jesus to save us.  Scripture Passage: John 4
Week 3: Seeing Jesus with children teaches us that He loves us.  Scripture Passage: Mark 10
Week 4: In learning about Jesus and Zacchaeus, we'll see that Jesus seeks and saves us.  Scripture Passage: Luke 19
Week 5: When Jesus interacts with those with leprosy, we'll learn that Jesus cares for everyone.  Scripture Passage: Luke 17
Week 6: Nicodemus' visit to Jesus teaches us that God sent Jesus because He loves us.  Scripture Passage: John 3

Kids Church 

Our team uses Bible-based, up-to-date multimedia technology, weekly family interactive questions that are available on Wonder@Home, Bible memory games, and more. We hope SC Kids is just the beginning of a life-long, character-building, exciting journey with Jesus for your kids. 

Service Times: Every Sunday at 9:30am.  Check-in starts at 9:15am in the Barn for all ages from infant through 6th grade before heading off to their classrooms.
