Think Again
We wander from God to do things our way. And still, God is faithful. He invites us to repent— to think again—about our sinful choices, to think again about who He is. Sound familiar? It’s a pattern God’s people know well. This series explores five Old Testament stories of people who wander from God. Cain kills his brother, and people build a tower to reach God on their terms. Later the Israelites worship a golden calf, complain in the desert, and experience God’s mercy through the judges. Every time, God invites His people to think again. And every time, He is faithful.
The memory verse: Even if we are not faithful, He remains faithful. He must be true to Himself. - 2 Timothy 2:13
Week 1: The lesson on Cain and Abel will teach us that God redeems. Scripture Passage: Genesis 4
Week 2: We'll learn that God's plan is enough through the account of the Tower of Babel. Scripture Passage: Genesis 11
Week 3: The lesson about The Golden Calf will remind us that only God is worthy of worship. Scripture Passage: Exodus 32
Week 4: We'll learn that only God saves through the lesson on the Bronze Snake. Scripture Passage: Numbers 21
