Discussion questions:
1. What guardrails does our Heavenly Father give us to help us avoid falling into
temptation? How much do you pay attention to them?
2. What does the prayer “deliver us from evil” mean? What do we need deliverance
from? What are we delivered for?
3. In what ways has the Father already delivered us from the evil one in the past?
How does He continue to deliver us in the present and in the future?

Prayer topics:
1. Praise God from your heart for His power, love, goodness, holiness, etc. Tell Him
what you appreciate about Him.
2. Thank Him for His personal guidance and deliverance toward you and other
followers of Jesus.
3. Pray for Him to deliver you from sin and to give you grace to walk in the full
freedom of holiness.

Actions:
1. Pray the Lord’s prayer daily, and meditate on it deeply.
2. Practice an attitude of constant dependence on God throughout the week, and
listen for the Holy Spirit’s guidance to avoid temptation.
