- Read verses 12-14 and think again about Jesus’ ultimate triumph over sin. Why is this the most important event in human history?
- Verses 10 and 14-16 describe the sanctification that is made possible through the New Covenant. What is sanctification? What does it mean to have God’s laws written on our hearts and minds?
- Verses 17-18 tell us that God chooses to forget our sins and lawless deeds and to forgive us, which makes further sacrifice unnecessary. Read Romans 6:23, and discuss what grace is and how we gain access to it.
