Opening
  1. When you hear the phrase "children of God" as used in 1 John 3:1, what does that stir in you? Does it feel like a title you have fully taken hold of, or does it still feel distant?
  2. Pastor Rino described moments when the Holy Spirit has made him freshly aware of something he had been taking for granted spiritually. Has that ever happened to you? What prompted it?

Going Deeper
  1. The sermon draws a sharp line between the children of God and the children of the devil based on the fruit of their lives. How do you personally respond to that kind of black-and-white language? Does it challenge you, comfort you, or make you uncomfortable?
