Personal Reflection

  • What's the difference between happiness and holiness?
  • How have you experienced joy through pursuing holiness rather than happiness?
6. Reflect on this statement: "If you're talking about a preacher's name more than the message he's preaching, be aware." What does healthy spiritual leadership look like?
  • How can we honor leaders without idolizing them?

Living in Freedom
7. The sermon emphasized that true freedom comes through Christ, not through doing whatever we want. What does biblical freedom look like in practical terms?

8. Pastor challenged: "If you abide in me, you will know the truth and the truth will set you free" (John 8:31-32). What does it mean to "abide" in Christ?
  • What practices help you abide in God's Word?
  • What distracts you from abiding?
9. The sermon mentioned people being hurt by "religious people" in the church. How can we ensure we're offering living water to others rather than being "dry springs"?
